Anxiety, Stress & Overwhelm

    Anxiety, stress and overwhelm

For when your mind will not switch off, and no one has looked at why.

This is for people who feel wired and tired, anxious in a way no one has quite explained, and like they are carrying too much, for too long. You may have been offered a prescription, or told it is just how you are. What often gets missed is the body underneath the worry: the stuck nervous system, the blood sugar on a rollercoaster, the gut, the broken sleep, and the story feeding all of it. As a naturopath and counsellor, I look at the mind and the body together, gently, and we start from exactly where you are.

    The Reality

    You might recognise

    • Waking at 3am with a racing mind, exhausted but unable to switch off
    • Running the day on coffee, coming down with a glass of wine at night
    • A short fuse, brain fog, or a knot in your stomach you cannot place
    • Being told your bloods are "normal" while you still feel far from yourself
    • Carrying everyone, work, kids, ageing parents, with no room for you
    The Approach

    How the work looks

We look at the whole picture and build your Life Script around the two or three changes you are genuinely ready to make. The work may draw on counselling to be heard and to settle the story; naturopathic and lifestyle support for sleep, blood sugar, gut and the nervous system; and gentle, practical habit change. Breathing and meditation often sit at the centre. No overwhelm, no shame, and always alongside your medical care, never instead of it.

"Anxiety is not just your personality, and tiredness is not just your age. When we look at the body and the story together, we usually find the thing everyone else has been stepping around."

    – Raji Samprathi, Naturopath and Counsellor
